Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda #March Part II

Could... buy this long chain necklace from Mango for £17.99. It will look great with a plain white tee in the day  or as a statement piece for a night out.

Would... be the proud owner of the Issa Broderie anglaise dress if it were not for the £595.00 price tag. That is the ONLY thing stopping me from getting my Coachella chic on though.

Should... probably be sensible and spend my hard earned money on a stylish yet durable suitcase for my two week internship in London in less than a week. I've got to look the business with something like this Jasper Conran for Tripp suitcase. Luckily its in the sale for £89.99.

Mary's Bottom Line

I love Mary Portas. She's got good fashion sense, she's blunt and she makes bloody good viewing so I will most definitely be tuning in to her new show: Mary's Bottom Line.

Even if you're not a fan of this legend, the show is set to be a good'un.

In this three part series, Mary is looking at why Britain is no longer the world class clothing manufacturer it once was. With most fashion being cheaply manufactured overseas, our once bustling factories are now laying dormant.

Mary, however, tries to rectify this by starting her own production line to create home made... knickers. Yep, set to be a good'un.

The show is filmed in Middleton, near Manchester, which was once a booming manufacturing community and follows Mary as she recruits and trains eight apprentices to create her Kinky Knickers.

Tune in tomorrow at 9pm on Channel 4 to see a whole lot of Mary (pun intended).

Shoes fit for a princess

Fashion student, Becka Hunt, has been announced the winner of a competition to design a pair of shoes for the Duchess of Cambridge.

The 20 year old's elegantly designed footwear was chosen by Kate Middleton herself as the winning entrant.

The competition was between six footwear design students at De Montford University, Leicester, and was in  held in honour of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

The design seems a fitting winner for a competition judged by a princess - an almost Victorian inspired heeled boot in a royal blue shoe with delicate cream lace. However, I would have liked a more daring design to win a modern footwear competition.

I can't deny that the shoes look very 'Kate' though. We'll just have to wait and see if that was a boring or business savvy move from Becka.

Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda #March

Could... have been repping the coloured tailoring trend with this bright blue structured jacket from F&F at Tesco. For a mere £28, why are you still reading this?

Would... be bragging about owning the beautiful Patent Eva bag by Lulu Guinness if I could afford the £425 price tag. Hint: its my birthday tomorrow.

Should... be buying an Apple Macbook Pro laptop. I can't be a top blogger on my old Acer - not because of the sticky letters 'k' and 'n', but Microsoft Paint really can't live up to Photoshop unfortunately.
